Brook Trout (pt.2)

Big Hunting Creek

By the calculations of, 39 out of 41 points, Big hunting creek, located in Cunningham falls, MD, rated the best to have a trout population grow, live and reproduce.

Rock Creek rated a 30/41-----S.O>1 through 5=2---T.R>1 through 10=9---D.O>1 through 6=4---pH>1 through 6=5---N>1 through 10=5  and M.I> 1 through 6=5

Potomac River rated a 31/41---S.O>1 through 5=3---T.R>1 through 10=10---D.O>1 through 6=5---pH>1 through 6=6---N>1 through 10=6  and M.I> 1 through 6=1

Antietam Creek rated a 36/41---S.O>1 through 5=3---T.R>1 through 10=8---D.O>1 through 6=6---pH>1 through 6=6---N>1 through 10=7  and M.I> 1 through 6=6

Savage River rated a 28/41---S.O>1 through 5=5---T.R>1 through 10=6---D.O>1 through 6=6---pH>1 through 6=6---N>1 through 10=10 and M.I> 1 through 6=5

with Big Hunting Creek...
being the best with a 39/41---S.O>1 through 5=5---T.R>1 through 10=9---D.O>1 through 6=6---pH>1 through 6=6---N.>1 through 10=10 and M.I> 1 through 6=3

These calculations are based on Stream observation(SO)(riffles, places to hide, rocks, trees, shade),Temperature range(TR), Dissolved oxygen(DO), pH, nitrates(N), and Micro invertebrates(MI); on scales of 1-6, 1-10, and 1-5. This was a long process of observations, calculations, dealing with supplies, including cameras, computers, pencils(of coarse), calculators, and the process of trout breeding. So Big Hunting creek, with these calculations, was the best stream/creek, for our trout to live and reproduce!!!!!!!!!!
